Frequently asked questions
I am outside your service area. Can I still get service?
Please get in touch with us if you’re outside our service area. In some cases, we may be able to still serve you, as long as it is close to a major highway. Please note that travel fees will be higher than listed in our fee schedule and will vary based on the extra distance traveled.
Must you come to my home?
No! We can meet you in a safe, well-lit location. You can select to get service anywhere: work, at a restaurant, even at Starbucks. Just no bars. You have to be of sound mind to receive notary services, and nobody goes to a bar to handle issues that require notarization. That’s taking our name a little too literally. 🙂
Are there any restrictions on where your notaries will travel?
For the safety of our notaries, all appointments after 9 PM must meet at a central location (such as a gas station, truck stop, etc.). The notary can waive this requirement for return customers or where the notary has previous experience with the customer.
What is your inclement weather policy?
As mobile notaries, we must be prepared for less than favorable weather. However, we can not guarantee service on days with severe weather. Service will not be provided on days where travel restrictions or road closures are in effect. We ask that you keep your driveway and pathway to your door clear and ice-free during winter weather.
If your appointment is canceled due to weather, you will have priority the following day (or whenever travel is safe). Weather cancellations are extremely rare and only used as a last resort.
